How to Make Image based backup

previously, after a hard disk failure, windows and all other appliction had
to be reinstalled and all personal data reimported However, windows 7
allows the entire system hard disk to be cloned using image based backup
click start -> all program -> maintenance -> backup and restore -> select
create a system image and specify an external hard disk path specify an
external hard disk path as the location to save it to windows also offers
the option to save on a DVD which isn`t very practical considering most
hard disks contains terabye of infornation these days. To use this
funtionality click start backup to restore the system after a date crash,
connect the exernal hard disk and activate the extended windows start
options while booting using F8 -> select repair comuter -> system
image restore.
